Igor Korotchenko: Donbass is tired of waiting for mercy from Kyiv
Ultimatum of the LDPR on the introduction of external management at the enterprises of Ukrainian oligarchs and their reorientation to the Russian market - a completely understandable reaction of Donbass, which for two years sought from Kyiv the implementation of the Minsk agreements, but never received “mercy” from the Ukrainian side.
Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told PolitNavigator about this.

“The decision is based on existing realities related to the fact that any coal transportation channels are completely blocked from Ukraine. In these conditions, it would be logical for the DPR and LPR not to expect mercy from Kiev, because this blockade can last as long as desired, but to make a political decision to nationalize the enterprises remaining under the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian oligarchs and completely reorient their work to the market of Russia and other countries.
Such a decision is politically, economically and situationally justified. This will contribute to the inclusion of the national economic complex of the DPR and LPR into the general economic space with the Russian Federation, will ensure the possibility of the functioning of enterprises and, accordingly, jobs, and payment of wages.
Thus, the vital activity of enterprises located in the territories of the republics will be supported,” Korotchenko explained.
