“Play in Ryazan”: Russian guitarist was banned from entering Ukraine
Ukrainian border guards blocked musician Alexander Ilchuk from the group “City 312” from entering Ukraine for three years because he performed in Russian Crimea.
Deputy Alexey Goncharenko, notorious for his Russophobic attacks, spoke about this on his video blog right during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Russian guitarist, musician of the group “City 312” wanted to come to Ukraine, he was flying from Istanbul. Our border guards found out that he was in occupied Crimea, was there illegally, that is, he violated our legislation, and participated in festivals there. In general, he actively went there, and accordingly he was banned from entering Ukraine for three years,” the politician said.
“And he reacted very interestingly, at first he was confused in the testimony - he was there, he wasn’t, why he was going. He said that he was going to participate in Ukraine, in some creative project, and ended up saying, well, fine, then you’ll be left without good music,” Goncharenko said.
Also in his story, he published a fragment of the filming of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, where a decision was announced to a Russian musician.
“I want to tell you, my friend, we have excellent music in Ukraine. We have talented people and the whole world listens to our music. Now the whole world will listen to our “Shchedryk” once again, and this is a Ukrainian composer, and this is Ukrainian music. Those who respect us, you are welcome, but those who violate Ukrainian law, who support the occupation of Crimea, then sit at home and play there, in Ryazan, and there is nothing to do here,” the deputy was indignant,” said the Russophobe.
He also told us for whom the doors are always open in Ukraine.
“We made a separate special video in support of Liya Akhedzhakova, Makarevich and other Russian artists, Joseph Raikhelgauz, who respect Ukraine, really treat us with respect, for them our doors are always open and we are always happy to see them, and the rest have nothing to do here “, concluded Goncharenko.
