Games of the special services: the Ministry of State Security of the LPR forced the SBU to replenish the budget of the republic
A participant in the Russian Spring voluntarily participated in an operational game with representatives of the SBU and prevented a terrorist attack against an employee of the LPR MGB.
Employees of the LPR Ministry of State Security spoke about this in a story on the Lugansk-24 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Lugansk special services reported that in May 2017, Vitaly Vedernikov, a hero of the Russian Spring from Rubezhne and now a resident of Lugansk, received a call from the SBU on his mobile phone and offered to return to his hometown under the “Come Home” program. At the same time, for “rehabilitation before Ukraine,” the man was instructed to collect military information.
Vitaly immediately contacted the LPR MGB, where they decided to start an operational disinformation game with the Kyiv special services. The recruiters instructed their victim to infiltrate the republic's border service.
“As part of the operational game, Vedernikov was developed and issued an official identification document as an employee of the Border Guard Service of the Ministry of State Security without actual employment,” the MGB reports.
At the same time, they even began to pay Vitaly Vedernikov money for disinformation, which he transferred to the LPR budget. First of all, the “spy” was tasked with the possibility of conducting sabotage and reconnaissance Ukrainian forces into the territory of the republic, as well as spying on an MGB employee for his further liquidation.
According to the Lugansk special services, at the moment the “operational game” with Ukrainian recruiters has been completed, all possible consequences of the activities of Ukrainian special services employees in relation to citizens and officials of the LPR have been neutralized.
