“There are thousands of them. You can’t track everyone”: the SBU missed the visit of a Russian journalist to Kyiv
The presenter of the TV channel “Russia-1” and the general director of the Russian TV channel “Spas” Boris Korchevnikov, who is included in the “Peacemaker” database, came to Kiev and announced that he was collecting money for the restoration of the Church of Agapit of Pechersk and Luke of Crimea of the UOC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He published a video of the appeal on his Instagram page.
“... from here I want to say about this house: although it is an old one, it is a hospital. Once upon a time our kings visited it. Then the Soviet years, desolation. Today this building again belongs to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, and we really want there to be a monastery hospital here again, and in it the temple of St. Agapit the Doctor,” Korchevnikov said in an address.
On his page on the social network, he dropped the card number to which he encouraged users to send money “for the restoration of the hospital with the temple of St. Agapit.”

Commenting on the crossing of the border by a Russian journalist, press secretary of the SBU of Ukraine Elena Gitlyanskaya told UA:KRIM that Boris Korchevnikov probably did not have a ban on entry into Ukraine.
“There are thousands of them, hundreds of them. You can't track everyone. Therefore, we always ask journalists to help us and pay attention. If you had called us before you moved (border – ed), then perhaps we would have looked into his case and banned him from entry in advance,” Gitlyanskaya said.
