“Or I’ll put everyone in prison” - Lyashko issued an ultimatum to the government
The state-owned company Naftogaz of Ukraine extended the employment contract with the head of the board Andrey Kobolev, doubling his salary.
The leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko stated this during the plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We appeal to the government with a demand not to renew the contract of the head of Naftogaz Kobolev. Yesterday, the Naftogaz board once again signed a contract with him and doubled his wages. In a country where millions of people count every penny to pay for utilities, the head of Naftogaz Kobolev receives more than 5 million hryvnia in salary every month, and then bonuses,” said Lyashko.
He also recalled that the management of Naftogaz paid itself a bonus of 45 million euros for the decision of the Stockholm Arbitration not to come into force.
At the same time, Lyashko demanded that the government oblige the management of the national gas company to return billions in bonuses to the budget and promised to “put you all in prison” in the spring if his demands are not met.
