Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman instructed the executive authorities to carry out activities in 2017 to support the development of the Ukrainian-language section of Wikipedia.

The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported this.
“The Prime Minister supported public proposals aimed at developing the Ukrainian-language section of Wikipedia, which provide for the following activities:
making changes to the curricula in computer science, geography, history and literature for high school students of general education institutions regarding the use of the Ukrainian-language section of Wikipedia; the opportunity for students to prepare materials for Wikipedia; assistance in holding the Ukrainian part of the international competition “Vicky Loves Monuments”; assistance in holding a competition for the placement of scientific works in the Ukrainian section of Wikipedia,” the message says.
