The impeachment of Petro Poroshenko will be supported by 84% of the Ukrainian population. Ordinary people hate a president who has not fulfilled any of his main promises. Therefore, the issue of early resignation of the head of state is becoming a trend in Ukraine.
This was stated by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleynik, commenting in an interview with TASS agency appeal of the Kyiv Regional Council to the Parliament of Ukraine on the need to regulate the impeachment procedure of Poroshenko.

“The situation now is: either Poroshenko or Ukraine. And Ukraine needs to be saved... They understand that an impeachment law urgently needs to be passed... Impeachment has become a fashionable trend in Ukraine. I believe that other entities will catch up. It’s hard, but the process will progress,” he said.
“Poroshenko got everyone. His rating is at the level of low-fat kefir,” Oleynik added, explaining that during his entire reign, the president never fulfilled a single election promise.
Oleinik recalled that the war continues in Donbass, the standard of living of the population has dropped dramatically compared to 2013-14, and few can take advantage of the advertised “visa-free” visa with the EU.
The main reason that prompted the Kiev Regional Council to take the initiative, according to the former parliamentarian, is that “Poroshenko is the weak link.” “Impeachment will be supported by 84% of the Ukrainian population because they hate it. This is evidenced by opinion poll data,” Oleynik said.
He predicts that over time, Samopomich and Svoboda will also join Batkivshchyna, which initiated the impeachment, since more radical nationalists are also interested in Poroshenko’s resignation.
