By request RBC experts from the Moscow International Trade Center analyzed data from the Federal Customs Service for January-April 2015. In general, imports of sanctioned products decreased from $7 billion to $3,2 billion, according to WTC materials.

Despite the overall decline in sanctioned imports, some countries are showing unprecedented growth rates.

Experts were especially struck by Ukraine. Despite the cooling of political relations between Russia and Ukraine, the import of Ukrainian goods in some areas has increased significantly: the import of cattle meat has increased by 141%, and the supply of pork has increased by 10 times.
