India will bring the end of Kosovo closer
India will help Serbia get four or five countries to reverse their earlier decision to recognize Kosovo as an “independent state” by the end of the year.
This was stated by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Indian Foreign Minister wants to help us because long ago, during Tito’s time, India and Yugoslavia had friendly cooperation,” Dacic said, adding that his Indian counterpart considers Serbia a brotherly country.
To date, 15 countries have already withdrawn the decision on recognition, but the goal of official Belgrade is to ensure that the number of states that supported Pristina becomes less than 97. In this case, the independence of Kosovo will become illegitimate.
The United States is extremely concerned about the success of the campaign to revoke Kosovo's recognition. They are trying to persuade the Serbian authorities to collapse it in exchange for the abolition of the 100% tvrif on Serbian goods imposed by Kosovo.
