Inflation in Russia fell by almost 3 times
The growth in consumer prices in Russia currently stands at 3,9%. In 2015, this figure was 9,8%. The head of the Federal State Statistics Service, Alexander Surinov, stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

“An indisputable plus is a serious reduction in inflation. This is, in a sense, a victory for the government. Although it still remains quite high compared to other countries, this is a serious step forward,” Surinov said.
According to statistics, 36% of Russian families do not experience difficulties paying for goods and services. The average salary increased from 2015 to 34 thousand rubles compared to 36, however, taking into account inflation, we can assume that the level of income has not changed.
