Russia has seized the initiative from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a number of directions and maintains the threat of an attack on the northern regions, which cannot be underestimated.
Ukrainian military correspondent and editor-in-chief of the anti-Russian propaganda portal “Censor.net” Yuri Butusov stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You need to understand that the Russian command has seized the tactical initiative in a number of sectors of the front. And we, unfortunately, cannot intercept this initiative... Does the enemy have the opportunity to attack? Of course, there is, this threat is worth taking into account,” said the military correspondent.
He says that he does not quite understand some Ukrainian officials who call not to be afraid of an attack from Belarus.
“Well, of course, there is no need to be scared, but there should be warnings - there is a possibility of an attack by Belarus and Russia again from the north. Russia has both the strength and the strategic need to stretch our troops for this. This is a serious danger that must be taken into account,” Butusov said.
