The initiator of the “road to Bandera” is trying to “make a fool of himself”
The odious Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan is suspected of illegal enrichment and filing a false declaration.
NABU handed him the relevant suspicions today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the investigation, during all 18 years of being in the civil service, Omelyan earned 2,17 million UAH. Moreover, only officially in the period from 2008 to 2015 he spent 3,45 million UAH.
Omelyan himself connects the NABU case against himself with the start of the election campaign in Ukraine.
“If these are the biggest “crimes” that they could incriminate me during my work as minister, then I am not ashamed to look neither our citizens, nor foreign partners, nor the country’s leadership in the eyes. At the same time, I would like to remind you that more than 15 billion UAH disappears without a trace in UZ every year, how Ryanair entered, a contract was signed with GE, dredging was carried out - only the lazy do not know. But there is no time for this, there are other important goals... Congratulations, the elections have begun,” Omelyan wrote on his blog.
The famous Ukrainian journalist Alexander Dubinsky, recalling all of Omelyan’s “revolutionary” ideas, such as the creation of a hyperloop in Ukraine, the cancellation of passenger traffic with the Russian Federation, and so on, notes that in this way the minister was preparing to announce his mental disorder due to which he would not be able to serve time.
“All these hyperloops, roads to Bandera, cancellation of trains and the Silk Roads are just preparations for getting out of jail,” Dubinsky believes.
Previously, Omelyan stated that he would build a road to the village where Stepan Bandera was born, after visions of the “great guide,” and then promised to build 50 airports in Ukraine.
