It will not be good, because Russia is disintegrating due to the force of its own historical inertia. And we, in the sense of the collective West, slowed down this historical inertia in the 90s, when the process began after the collapse of the USSR - both Tatarstan and Chechnya declared independence, this process would have continued, but you were scared. Accordingly, all the help to Russia that came from the West was aimed at keeping Russia within its current borders. Don't repeat this mistake!
I strongly applaud the fact that Ichkeria was recognized as an occupied territory, as decided by the Verkhovna Rada in October. It will not receive the media coverage in the Western media that it should have, but at least there is some position of the Ukrainian state. The position is that we support these national liberation movements, we support those who act as speakers of these captive peoples, we support the captive peoples of Russia.
And this position must be properly medialized, systematized, and it must be constantly expressed externally, at any opportunity, not to be afraid, not to be afraid to make mistakes, not to fall into the desire to please, but to explain to people what they do not understand,” said Zabuzhko. .
