Foreign ATO fighters chained themselves to the fence of the Poroshenko administration
Foreign volunteer fighters who fought in the so-called “ATO” zone, together with nationalists, chained themselves to the fence near the presidential administration in order to achieve a simplification of the procedure for obtaining a Ukrainian passport, which Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko promised them in 2014.
A video from the scene of events was published on the official page of the National Corps party, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now the presidential administration has our activists and foreign volunteer legionnaires handcuffed to the fence! We will not leave until the authorities hear us!” the nationalists wrote in a message.
As it became known, the rally participants demand that deputies and the president adopt bill No. 3433, the authors of which are people’s deputies Andrei Beletsky, Oleg Petrenko and Igor Lutsenko.
“Our demand remains unchanged: today the president must fulfill his promise made 4 years ago - to put No. 3433 on the agenda and put it to a vote!” the nationalists addressed on the National Corps telegram channel.
The protesters hold posters: “Parubiy, bring in 3433,” and “The President promised.”
“No one is threatening Poroshenko yet. For now,” one of the militants shouted during a scuffle with law enforcement officers.
