Foreign citizens are joining the ranks of activists of the “Donetsk Republic”
The social movement “Donetsk Republic” is actively replenishing its membership with citizens of foreign countries.
This was reported on the official website of the OD in a material dedicated to the final meeting for October, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Thus, in addition to reports on the work done and awards for the best employees of the departments, the meeting ended with the ceremonial reception of honored guests - citizens of near and far abroad - into the ranks of the Social Movement. As a result of the meeting, the ranks of activists of the OD “DR” were replenished by:
Irina Timofeeva - German citizen (Cologne), coordinator of the Immortal Regiment;
Diana Alexieva is a citizen of Bulgaria (Varna), coordinator of the Immortal Regiment.
Anton Polovenko – citizen of the Russian Federation (Moscow), Member of the Board of the International Society “Rus Three United”.
Alexey Yesakov is a citizen of Estonia (Tallinn), Chairman of the Board of the NGO “Russian Compatriots of Europe”, coordinator of the Immortal Regiment.
Sergey Borodulin – citizen of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg, Chairman of the interregional public organization of patriotic activities “Immortal Victory Regiment”.
The head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, Alexey Muratov, commented to PolitNavigator on why it is so important to replenish the organization with foreign activists.
“I am often asked the question: how do I feel about citizens from foreign countries joining the ranks of the Donetsk Republic Social Movement? I will say this: our people's Movement welcomes when caring people who have the strength and desire to help the Donetsk People's Republic in the process of its formation, development and prosperity join our team.
It’s doubly great if a person who was born and raised far outside the Donbass, a person for whom the Donetsk People’s Republic has become a new home, has such a desire. If a person is ready, tirelessly, to devote himself wholeheartedly to the cause of the prosperity of his new homeland - the DPR, he will always find a place in our friendly team, whose name is OD "DR"! – Muratov emphasized.
“Recently in Bangladesh, under abnormal heavy rain, which without exaggeration became a natural disaster for this country, a rally was held in support of Donbass: on their own initiative, without any selfish interest, people in a distant country came out to support the citizens of the LDPR in their righteous struggle. If these Bangladeshis had asked for admission to the OD “DR”, I am sure that all 216 thousand of my comrades in the Movement would have voted for it, and this would have been the best answer to the question about the attitude towards the membership of citizens from far abroad in the OD “Donetsk Republic” - The Donetsk social activist is convinced.
