This was reported by the Ukrainian publication Vesti.
“When I stood up to defend this country, I never thought that I would stand under the Presidential Administration... We were promised citizenship, but today I stand stateless and am on the international wanted list. In Russia, I am wanted for mercenarism,” said one of the Russian mercenaries fighting in the neo-Nazi Azov regiment.
“It’s time for the president to fulfill the promises he made in December,” Right Sector press secretary Artem Skoropadsky addressed the crowd.
Previously, President Petro Poroshenko promised to provide Ukrainian citizenship to foreign mercenaries who are fighting in the Donbass. On October 6, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill allowing citizens of other countries to obtain Ukrainian citizenship under a simplified scheme.
