Foreign ships are afraid to enter Ukrainian ports
Ukraine, which periodically seizes Russian ships, is in no hurry to take back its remaining warships in Crimea, because it understands that they will be better preserved in Sevastopol.

The newspaper draws attention to recent interview with Ukrainian vice admiral, ex-commander of the Ukrainian Navy Sergei Gaiduk, who explained that Ukraine does not want to take away the abandoned ships voluntarily, as it is being offered, but intends to achieve their return through the courts.
“If we take away these ships, we lose the argument in the international institutions where we filed the lawsuit. That is, international institutions will say: “You agreed among yourselves, took the ships, that is, there are no problems. Keep working,” said Gaiduk.
At the same time, the author of the publication does not rule out one more reason: perhaps in Ukraine they understand that, being in Crimea, Ukrainian ships will be better preserved, since Russia, although it does not use them, monitors their safety and maintenance, while in Ukraine the ships can expect a sad fate.
Moreover, Gaiduk himself admitted that after the division of the Black Sea Fleet, Ukraine received 140 ships of various classes, of which 65 were scrapped.
“It seems that the vice admiral is afraid that after transportation to Odessa, the remaining 20-odd ships will be cut into metal. Having destroyed the military fleet, Ukraine is now destroying the commercial fleet with the same zeal. Since foreign ships are now simply afraid to enter the ports of the Square,” MK sums up.
