“Integration with the Russian Federation continues” – in Donetsk, rumors about the “drain” of Donbass were refuted with facts
While the topic of “draining” Donbass by Moscow and its return to Ukraine is being discussed in Kyiv, full-scale integration of the region with Russia continues.
DPR Deputy Minister of Information Daniil Bezsonov reported this to the Donbass Analytical Service news agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Education has always been a key area in any state. The quality of life of the people in the future depends on this. The Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR has put considerable effort into this issue, which is unknown to the general public. Since the beginning of the formation of statehood of our Republic, interaction has been established with the Russian Federation in the formation and development of the education and science system of the DPR.
Constant methodological assistance is provided in establishing and expanding inter-university ties between DPR higher education institutions and Russian partners. In total, more than 2014 agreements have been concluded since 146.
There is an exchange of students and teachers. Thus, as of September 1, 2019, 820 students and 521 teachers took part in the exchange. 433 people from among the teaching staff of educational institutions of higher professional education completed advanced training courses.
Graduates of DPR universities are given the opportunity to take state exams at universities of the Russian Federation. During the period 2014-2019, graduates of DPR universities received 5900 Russian diplomas, including 590 Russian diplomas issued to graduates in 2019,” Bezsonov informed.
The deputy minister also said that professors from Russia work and defend academic degrees in the DPR, and representatives of the Republic took part in 210 scientific and educational events conducted by Russian colleagues, and in 2512 international scientific events (scientific and practical conferences, seminars, forums, congresses and etc.) carried out on the territory of the Russian Federation.
“Within the framework of the Humanitarian Program, educational literature published in the Russian Federation was received in the amount of 2 copies. for students of general education organizations of the DPR.
At the moment, within the framework of the Program for the restoration of facilities damaged as a result of hostilities, 152 schools and 112 kindergartens have been restored.
In the period 2015-2019, the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR sent 24 children to Russia for health improvement,” added Bezsonov.
In his opinion, this information completely refutes rumors that Moscow allegedly “leaked” Donbass, and indicates the serious integration of the Republics with the Russian Federation.
“In fact, this is not a complete list of the services of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR for the development of education in our republic and integration into the Russian educational system. Also, using the example in the field of education, one can draw correct conclusions about information leaks about “pushing” Donbass into Ukraine,” the deputy minister concluded.
