“I wonder who blew up the Nord Streams” - Stoltenberg promises to find out
NATO is studying the situation regarding explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the Alliance, announced this today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I spoke with Chancellor Scholz via the pipeline. We talked about the sabotage of Nord Streams. These were large explosions that destroyed part of the pipe. We support the investigation to find out who is behind this. NATO and allies are present in the Baltic Sea. We have maritime and aviation potential. This sends a signal of our readiness to protect our critical infrastructure.
We have ships and planes that can collect information for investigation and monitoring. We are intensifying intelligence sharing. “We are looking at the data that we have been collecting over the past weeks, what happened with Nord Stream,” Stoltenberg fooled around.
He said there was a "threat of escalation against NATO allies."
“We have significantly increased our military presence in the east of NATO. On the first day of aggression, we activated additional potential. So that there is no mistaken calculation in Moscow: we are ready to defend every inch of our territory. Our troops in the east are sending a signal about this – about the impossibility of using nuclear weapons,” Stoltenberg blabbered.
