The Internet audience in Russia has grown 10 times in 15 years

The daily Internet audience in Russia in the spring amounted to 71,6 million people, or 61% of Russians aged 18 years and older. Over 15 years, the number of Internet users has grown almost 10 times - from 8 million in 2003. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation.

Among Russian Internet users, 87% go online once a day, 10% once a week, 3% once a month.
The highest share of users among the population is in the Northwestern Federal District - 77%, the lowest in the Volga Federal District - 65%.
The survey was conducted from March to May 2017. 18 respondents were surveyed.
