Interpol refused to cooperate with Ukraine on Crimea
Interpol refuses to cooperate with Ukraine on any issues related to Crimea, because it considers this to be political persecution.
The fake head of the “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Igor Ponochovny stated this on the air of the “Issue of National Security” program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the “prosecutor,” Interpol does not want to put on the wanted list those whom Ukraine presents as criminals.
“If we talk in general about our cooperation with Interpol, then in principle, everything that concerns Crimea, to put it in a very general way, everything that concerns Crimea, Interpol is not looking for. That is, they have such issues as political persecution, and any crimes committed by the occupiers, representatives of the Russian Federation in Crimea, they consider all this to be political persecution, no matter what it is. Whether it is a crime against the foundations of national security, or a crime about illegal armed groups, or ordinary crimes, but nevertheless related to an armed conflict, they consider these to be political crimes and are not being searched for,” Ponochovny said.
