“I have been in the DPR for 5 days. All this time, I have carefully observed the process of work of the temporary election commission and I can say that this is a very democratic and transparent process. We have studied the provisions that the commission gave us. And although they are quite voluminous, I studied everything in detail and realized that they are very democratic. In Greece, similar documents are not as democratic as here.
The primaries will help show the participants in the Minsk agreements that the DPR is a democratic country. And that people here can freely express their will. I hope that with the help of the primaries, peace will soon come to this land. I thank the Donetsk People’s Republic for the invitation and the opportunity to take part in the observation process,” said Venetis Nikos.
