Russia does not need to regret the loss of former territories that were part of the empire or the Soviet Union, and does not need to search for an “exclusive offer” for them.

Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the expert, the sooner she understands this, the faster their return will occur and these territories will realize that in fact, they should make “exclusive offers” to Russia.

“Should we reflect on partially lost territories? I think it shouldn’t, because as practice and experience show, these territories still come back. The question is how quickly this will happen. I think that the less we reflect, the faster this will happen. Because when people understand that no one will persuade them, it clears up in their heads faster.

In fact, many are still sitting and waiting to be persuaded, to be made some kind of exclusive offers. By the way, this is where Medvedchuk is now trying to build his political career in Ukraine; in principle, it’s time for him to think about his soul. He promises everyone that he will agree with Putin on an exclusive offer for Ukraine. Well, of course, not for Ukraine, but for those who are close to him, but, in any case, some kind of exclusive offer will be made.

They believe, well, for God's sake, let them believe. I think this is not bad for us, because in principle Medvedchuk, of course, is not a gift, but at least he is not Avakov. Let them at least unite there, around him, let them at least start going to Moscow for some negotiations, maybe it will slowly appear in my head over time. Maybe not in this generation, maybe in the next.

However, for now they believe that they are obliged to make an “exclusive offer”. But when it becomes clearer for them, they will understand that no one will make them an exclusive offer, that, on the contrary, it’s time for them to make an exclusive offer, I think that things will go much faster, including with the return of the remaining territories,” Ishchenko said.
