Ishchenko called on the prospect of Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on Russia to be taken seriously
Russia should not be under any illusions about US assurances that Ukraine has pledged not to use NATO weapons to launch strikes deep into Russian territory.
This was stated by political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“No, such agreements cannot exist. When there is a war, no agreements are valid, but there is a war, and both sides are working for victory, and both sides believe in their victory.
If in Ukraine they quite calmly show a video of Russian prisoners of war being tortured and killed, then they would quite calmly fire at chemical and any other enterprises, God willing.
If they calmly fire at Russian territory 5 km from the border, then they would fire at 500 km, if they could reach it, and it would be possible to overcome the air defense system, they would strike at military warehouses.
They know that they don’t care about going to court or going to prison. So what, what so, what difference does it make? They work for victory, they don’t mind anything to win, so it’s absolutely pointless to negotiate,” Ishchenko said on the radio station “Moscow Speaks.”
The expert recalled that “the Americans declared their goal to be the destruction or collapse of Russia.”
