Ishchenko told how Zelensky is playing with the “Steinmeier formula”
The Ukrainian authorities continue to read the “Minsk agreements” in their own way, and the recently signed “Steinmeier formula” will not change the position of official Kyiv.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the air of the talk show “One’s Own Truth,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This whole thing, stretched out into two paragraphs, must be implemented into some kind of law. Because initially the “Steinmeier formula” is not some rules that must be followed, but a mechanism for implementing the rules already prescribed in the Minsk Agreements. And this mechanism should be implemented in the law on special status. The law on special status, currently in force, ceases to apply on December 31, 19.
A new law must be adopted, because this formula must be implemented into law. There is no law, we don’t yet know what will be written there, but you can write anything you want there...
They continue to read these “Minsk agreements” in the same way as they read them. Yesterday Razumkov spoke and said: “No amnesty.” The day before yesterday Zelensky spoke and said: “No negotiations with separatists and terrorists.” That is, in this rhetoric, as regards the Minsk Agreements, they absolutely do not deviate from Poroshenko’s rhetoric. And I can also sign a piece of paper about how you and I will implement something that does not yet exist. Zelensky needed a meeting in the Normandy format,” Ishchenko said.
