Ishchenko: The US is exposing Ukraine to Russian attack
The hysteria about a “Russian invasion” of Ukraine, fanned by the West, is intended to provoke an armed conflict at any cost.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on radio Aurora, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The story of the Russian invasion of Ukraine already lives its own life and influences politics, regardless of whether there is an invasion or not. Because, as you see, in the West the issue of sanctions and counteraction to Russia is discussed as if the issue of invasion is already a settled issue. The Americans are doing everything to ensure that, one way or another, the conflict takes place,” the expert noted.
According to him, the United States is pushing Ukraine to take military action against the LDPR, to which Russia will certainly respond.
“Russia will react in any case. They themselves do not know what scale this conflict will reach, but they are trying to provoke it. Naturally, in an attempt to shift responsibility for what they believe will be a future conflict onto Russia. They constantly emphasize that Moscow is conducting exercises and preparing to attack,” Ishchenko said.
Let us remember that earlier in Moscow they stated that information noise from Ukraine’s side that Russia is allegedly preparing military provocations against Kyiv, in fact means that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are developing a plan for a full-scale punitive operation in the Donbass.
In addition, it was noted that in the Southern Military District (SMD) deployed the first brigade of Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems in the Russian Armed Forces.
