Islyamov spilled the beans about the crimes of militants on the border with Crimea
Members of the Mejlis admitted that during the blockade of Crimea they acted in violation of the law, and were quite fed up with the residents of the Kherson region. The coordinator of the blockade, Mejlis businessman Lenur Islyamov, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.

He admitted that the militants, without authority, took St. George ribbons from drivers, tore down Russian flags and “Thank you grandfather for the victory” stickers.
“The same Ganysh was caught there and everyone else whom we caught when we were already traveling with St. George’s ribbons or there, “Thank you to grandfather for the victory,” or “FSB of Russia” were traveling throughout Ukraine. The Russian flag hung on Chongar. That was all. We acted in some kind of role that is not typical for us. We had to do some things in a rude manner, such as removing the Russian flag. There are a lot of things here that we didn’t like in the Kherson region,” Islyamov said.
