Islyamov: Sevastopol has never been a Russian city
Sevastopol has never been a Russian city. Its owner, Mejlis businessman Lenur Islyamov, stated this on air on the ATR TV channel.
According to him, Sevastopol residents come from Crimea to Ukraine and show off T-shirts with a trident.

“In general, I imagined Crimea differently, I was very surprised when Sevastopol was the city of Russian glory, blah blah blah, and when people left there, they unbuttoned their shirts, showed us a trident and were proud that they were walking there like that . They brought us food, equipment - people support us in every possible way. Today in our battalion there are people from Sevastopol, from the city of Russian glory. These are absolutely ethnic Russians. Sevastopol has never been a Russian city! Sevastopol, yes, was dissatisfied with the power that Yanukovych exercised, but not with Ukraine,” the extremist said.
