Residents of the Kherson region curse the organizers of the blockade of Crimea: as a result of the cancellation of trade with the peninsula, demand for the products of the agricultural region has sharply fallen, local peasants are going bankrupt.

“Kherson farmers were deceived during the Crimean blockade. They were promised to make markets on the border and were told that they would not lose anything. In fact, 30-50% less produce is now planted in the Kherson region, and even this cannot be sold. The region, once rich in its crops, is on the verge of survival. People want to trade with Crimea again. In the near future, farmers want to gather a council and jointly decide how to find a way out of this situation,” said Sivak.
To prove his words, he provided a video interview with a local resident who confirmed the difficult situation in the Kherson region due to the blockade organized by militants of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation.
