Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Alfonso Dastis stated this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As long as Crimea is under the aggressor, Crimea is occupied, we will support Ukraine at the New York site or at the Geneva site in a resolution to support human rights in Crimea,” Dustis said.
He also noted that Spain stands for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and Ukrainian power in Crimea.
Let us recall that earlier the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin said that there are no parallels between the events in Donbass and Catalonia. At the same time, according to him, today Ukraine and Spain face common challenges.
