Compared to the 1990s, the Russian capital began to look much better.
The new Ambassador of Spain in Moscow, Marcos Gomez Martinez, who arrived in Russia on November 10, stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with Kommersant.
“Having landed in the capital, I realized that it has changed dramatically for the better since my last stay here,” the diplomat emphasized.
He said that he lived in Moscow, working at the embassy, in 1993-1995.
“And since December 1995 I have never returned here. And now I’m literally amazed and delighted by the changes that the city has gone through,” Martinez concluded.
