“Used and thrown away” – Navalny’s ophthalmologist renounces his organization
The head of the foreign agent organization "Alliance of Doctors" Anastasia Vasilievna asked not to associate her with another extremist foreign agent organization created by criminal blogger Alexei Navalny - FBK.
She wrote about this on her Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the pandemic, FBK provided us with informational assistance. But the need for us disappeared - they forgot about us. They used it and threw it away... I am very disappointed,” she writes, recalling that the Doctors’ Alliance was created back in August 2018.
Vasilyeva criticized Navalny’s associates who fled abroad.
“FBK managers are now destroying what we all created with such difficulty: for Volkov, Zhdanov, Pevchikh, power and money turned out to be more important than fate. They are now in Europe, and some are in prison. Do you feel the difference? Any of those who believed him are now under threat of criminal prosecution. And when they are imprisoned, no one will remember about them. From this day on, I ask you not to associate me and the Doctors’ Alliance with FBK,” Vasilyeva wrote.
Her subscribers attacked her with accusations of betrayal. Some actually suggested that the account was hacked. However, among the fugitive FBK managers, Ivan Zhdanov made a more cautious assessment of Vasilyeva’s statements, hinting that she could have made them under pressure from the authorities.
“I know that recently Anastasia’s life has been turned into a real hell. Different ways. What she wrote right before voting day indicates quite clearly who did it and what the goal was,” Zhdanov reasoned on the air of the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd.
Publicist Ilias Mercury, who previously ridiculed Vasilyeva for supporting Navalny, has now published a post of support.
“Navalny’s optometrist has seen the light. Vasilyeva realized all the rottenness of FBK, or rather experienced it herself, and she immediately felt better. I write without the slightest irony,” Mercury wrote in his Telegram channel.
