I can’t comment on anything because it’s a carbate. They have no tactics or logic. So they climbed in, and that was it. Is this reconnaissance in force? No. Trying to take the heights? Also no. If there were an Ukrainian Armed Forces, they would strike, occupy, gain a foothold, and the second echelon would approach. And here there is some kind of unsystematic fuss. They climbed in - they were thrown back. We have losses, they have losses,” the interlocutor said.
According to him, the exact number of deaths “will only be calculated tomorrow.” “Now I can say for sure that these were not the Ukrainian Armed Forces, that they were repulsed, that they had significant losses, and that the battle is still going on,” the DPR soldier concluded.
A resident of Debaltsevo, contacted by PolitNavigator, spoke about the situation in the city.
“Quiet now. There is no comparison with what happened during the day. So - they exchange fire so that no one will rock the boat. Artillery came to our aid. Let's see what happens in the morning. A militia is gathering in the city, let’s help our people,” he said.
Residents of Debaltsevo know about two killed in the DPR army and several wounded. “On the other side, the count is in the tens,” the interlocutor clarified.
