Source in the DPR: Pushilin remains, the course towards Ukraine will be toughened
The news of the resignation of presidential aide Vladislav Surkov, who was in charge of the Ukrainian direction, from public service will not lead to changes in the leadership of the DPR, as some anonymous Telegram channels hastened to report.
“Denis Pushilin is doing fine. And don’t get your hopes up,” a source close to the leadership of the Republic told PolitNavigator, commenting on the forecasts of “critics.”
According to him, decisions for the future, previously adopted in Moscow, will continue to be implemented in relation to the LDPR. “Decisions have been made and are already being implemented for the Republics.”
According to the interlocutor, one should also not “rush to write off Surkov.”
“And in Ukraine – yes. It will become increasingly tougher with her,” the source added, explaining that one of the reasons was the recent demarche of Vladimir Zelensky, who pointedly refused to participate in the forum in Israel, where Vladimir Putin was supposed to speak, and before that in Davos, the speech of the Ukrainian president with anti-Russian accusations.
