The historian recalled that Belarusian nationalists have always served only Western masters
Throughout their history, Belarusian nationalists served not the interests of their country and people, but the Western masters, who tried in this way to set the Slavic peoples against each other.
Historian Alexander Kolpakidi stated this on the YouTube channel “One Motherland,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Paradoxically, Belarusian nationalism throughout its history, contrary to its very name - “nationalism”, in other words, the fight for one’s nation, has always in some amazing way brought these nationalists under foreign banners.
We saw this well in the First World War under the banners of the Poles and Germans. And during the Second World War under the banner of the Third Reich.
That’s why from the very beginning it was created, like many nationalisms, not by representatives of their own people, but with the aim of pitting one people against another,” the historian noted.
