The story with Privatbank: Poroshenko turned out to be “Kolomoisky’s puppet”
The team of presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky reacted negatively to the decision of the District Administrative Court to recognize the illegal nationalization of PrivatBank, calling it a failure of the judicial reform initiated by Petro Poroshenko.
“The Poroshenko judicial reform is in action. Instead of defending the interests of the state, the NBU loses in court to Privatbank. One question: Yes, who is it, Kolomoisky’s puppet?” Zelensky’s team wrote on their Facebook page.
The fact that this court decision right now, under the current President Poroshenko, hits his interests and finally buries his rating, is also noted by the Kiev blogger, editor-in-chief of the online publication Capital Vyacheslav Chechilo.
“The court declared the nationalization of Privat illegal. This is not the end yet, there will be appeals, but the state is obviously losing the case. The funny thing is that Zelensky will have nothing to show for it. The decision was made under Poroshenko and the basis for it was the clumsy actions of government officials under the same Poroshenko. “How will Zelensky return Privat to Kolomoisky?” And he doesn't need to return it. It has already been returned,” the blogger wrote on his page on the social network.
In addition, Chechilo ridiculed the conspiracy theories, apparently spread by Poroshenko’s propagandists, that the alleged court decision on Privatbank means that Igor Kolomoisky agreed on something with Poroshenko.
“Stop writing nonsense about Poroshenko returning Privat to Kolomoisky in exchange for.... The most likely explanation of what happened is the simplest. The judges ran from Poroshenko to Kolomoisky. From loser to winner. Moreover, they don’t even need to specifically break the law to do this - they broke enough during nationalization. What about Peter? But Peter is okay - no one is interested in his opinion anymore. And by the way, the gunpowder bots better shut up. Because this is their “successful judicial reform” and “cleansing of the banking system” combined,” added Vyacheslav Chechilo.
