“We are organizing a delegation of Italian parliamentarians from five regions: Veneto, Lobardia, Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia Romano. Italian businessmen will also take part in the trip. In addition to the cultural component of our visit, several serious political and economic contracts and agreements are on the agenda. In particular, at the meeting an agreement will be agreed on establishing related relations between the cities of Yalta and Verona and Simferopol and Padua, Valdegamberi said. — This agreement is necessary to show the closeness and solidarity between our peoples. The Italian region of Veneto opposes anti-Russian sanctions and for recognition of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation. We will raise a similar issue in the EU.”

The deputy also said, the publication notes, that “at a recent meeting with representatives of Italian business, it was understood that during the visit a number of contracts would be concluded between companies of the two countries.”

The arrival of the Italian delegation was also confirmed in Crimea.

“The purpose of the Italians’ visit is to negotiate with the leadership of the republic and with enterprises of Crimea in order to conclude a number of contracts. On the political plane, the Italians have already started a parade for the independence of Crimea and the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions. After the trip, they plan to continue this campaign on a larger scale. During the trip, they plan to sign bilateral agreements, in particular, on the sale of Crimean wines in Italy,” Andrei Nazarov, co-chairman of Delovaya Rossiya, co-chairman of the organizing committee of the Yalta International Economic Forum, told the newspaper.

He also said that the Italians have thought out a mechanism for circumventing sanctions restrictions.

“The Italians want to sell Crimean wines under the brand of their producers. Preliminary negotiations have already been held,” Nazarov said. – Crimean wines have their established status, and if they are presented in Italy, then after that they will be able to enter the world market. We predict that this trip will bring not only political but also economic results.”
