28 people voted for deprivation of the title, four were against.
It is noted that the first person to sign the resolution depriving Poroshenko of the title of honorary citizen of Verona was Vito Comensini, a member of the city council from the League party.
The title of honorary citizen of Verona was awarded to Poroshenko in May 2016 in gratitude for the return of 17 masterpieces found on Ukrainian territory that were stolen from the Castelvecchio Museum in Verona.
Earlier in Verona they honored the memory of the murdered leader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, who was called “a people’s hero and leader of a young state”
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Poroshenko disgraced himself in Serbia.
