The result of three years of investigation into the murders on the Maidan is the imprisonment of one “scapegoat”
In the three years after the deaths of people on the Maidan in Ukraine, they were able to imprison only one person, and he turned out to be a “titushka.” The head of the special investigations department of the Prosecutor General’s Office, created specifically for the Maidan cases, Sergei Gorbatyuk, stated this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power”.

According to him, in total, the Prosecutor General's Office suspects more than 350 people involved in the deaths of people on the Maidan, more than 200 of them are former employees of the Berkut special forces.
“To date, a total of 351 people have been notified of suspicion of crimes related to countering protests, committing murders, beatings, obstructing journalistic activities, and so on. Of these, 48 are senior officials, about 200 are law enforcement officers. In total, based on the results of the investigation, indictments were sent to court regarding 220 people. Today there are verdicts regarding 35 people, the investigation continues. Of the 35 sentences, actual punishment was applied to only one person, one of the “titushki,” Gorbatyuk said.
