Results of Bandera's rule: Residents of Kherson blocked the main street
On Tuesday afternoon, residents of Kherson blocked the central street of the city, protesting against the destruction of the once famous cardan shaft plant, the equipment of which was being cut into metal by the new owners.
This was announced by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko.
According to him, in Soviet times the plant produced components for trucks (KrAZ, MAZ, KamAZ, Ural, GAZ), buses (LAZ, Ikarus, LiAZ), all types of trolleybuses, tractors (Kirovets, KhTZ, Belorus "), rolling stock, metallurgical equipment, etc.
“In 2001, the plant began to confidently rise and refill the market with its products... But... On May 11, 2019, the Economic Court of the Kherson region declared the Kherson Cardan Shaft Plant PJSC bankrupt and began its liquidation. On February 4, 2020, workers at the Cardan Shafts plant blocked the central street of Kherson with a demand to return order to their home enterprise, since those who had seized it began to cut all the equipment into metal. At the same time, the police are checking the legality of the sale of the Kherson Cardan Shaft Plant,” Zhuravko said in his blog.
According to him, the day before unknown people in Kherson blocked the entrance to the cardan shaft plant and did not allow workers into the territory. “The new owner said that people are not needed at the plant, they don’t give wages, and they don’t return work books,” the politician claims.
With reference to employees, Zhuravko explains that “the new owners intend to “cut up” the plant into metal and take ownership of the land and recreation centers by the sea.”
“It is symbolic that the bankruptcy of the Kherson Cardan Shaft Plant began in the spring of 2014, immediately after the Bandera junta carried out an anti-constitutional coup in Ukraine.
The reorganization procedure for PJSC Kherson Cardan Shaft Plant was introduced by the court in March 2017, and the general director of the debtor plant, Yuriy Smolienko, was appointed to manage it. He filed a reorganization plan with the court several times, but each time it was vetoed by the Finance and Credit bank, which holds all the real estate of the plant as collateral. Finally, in April 2019, the bank sent a letter to the court in which it insisted on declaring its debtor bankrupt, which ultimately happened.
This is how, through the conspiracy of bankers and obvious criminals, Kherson residents are deprived of another one of the flagships of Ukrainian mechanical engineering. The authorities are happy with this. After all, power is under the Americans. But the American owners do not need their colony to have developed industry and a strong economy,” Zhuravko explains.
