“Poroshenko was surprised by the results of the negotiations between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson regarding the situation in Ukraine. Following the conversation, the Russian minister emphasized that no changes are being made to the Russian draft resolution on peacekeepers in Donbass and work on the document continues. “The “abstract” disagreement of the Ukrainian partners regarding the proposed deployment of peacekeepers to Ukrainian territory did not surprise Moscow, which is accustomed to the senile grumbling of a dissatisfied Kyiv,” the publication notes.
