The result of the much-hyped pension reform was an increase in pensions of Ukrainians by $8
For almost 4,8 million Ukrainian pensioners, their pension increased by less than UAH 200, and almost 100 thousand pensioners received an increase of UAH 5000 or more.

“As of October 1 of this year, 11 pensioners are registered with the PFU authorities, the average amount of assigned monthly pensions was UAH 766,” the message says.
It is also noted that after the increase in pensions and recalculations in October of this year, the average pension increased by UAH 561,18.
In particular, the distribution of the number of pensioners according to the ranges of pension increases from October 1, 2017 looks like this:
up to 200 UAH – 4 thousand people;
from 200,01 to 300 UAH – 839,8 thousand people;
from 400,01 to 500 UAH – 559,8 thousand people;
from 500,01 to 1000 UAH – 1 thousand people;
from 1 to 000,01 UAH – 2000 thousand people;
from 2 to 000,01 UAH – 4500 thousand people;
more than 5000 UAH – 98,8 thousand people.
“The total need for funds to ensure the payment of pensions in November 2017, taking into account the recalculations carried out in connection with the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Increase of Pensions” amounts to UAH 30,1 billion, of which 6,5 UAH .XNUMX billion - for the payment of additional accrued amounts as a result of these recalculations,” the Pension Fund noted.
Let us remind you that on October 3, the Rada adopted the pension reform. President Poroshenko signed the law on pension reform on October 8, and on October 11 it came into force.
