Poroshenko noticed the difference between Russian Crimeans and residents of mainland Russia. This was stated on TV channel 112 by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the BPP, former Crimean citizen Sergei Kunitsyn.

According to him, Russian Crimeans have breathed “the air of freedom under Ukraine” and are now bombarding the administration of the President of the Russian Federation with complaints.
“Purely mechanically, 72% are Russian in Sevastopol and 58% in Crimea, but these are other Russians. I myself am a Russian person from Crimea. These people are made of a different cloth, they breathed the air of freedom in Ukraine and, as some Crimeans and Sevastopol residents tell me, they are called “scribblers” in the Kremlin. Russia has not written for a long time, does not complain, because they are afraid, and these are still liberated. They say that the administration of the Russian President was bombarded with complaints from Crimeans,” Kunitsyn said.
