Ivano-Frankivsk lyceum students sing to the applause of their parents: “We are Banderaites!”

The improvised choir consists of both boys and girls. They are dressed in red and black colors of the flag of Bandera's OUN, an organization of Ukrainian nationalists that collaborated with Hitler during the Great Patriotic War. The girls are wearing red blouses and black skirts.

As you know, on this mountain during the First World War there was a clash between the Russian imperial army and units of the Austrian army recruited from Galician Rusyns. Later, the commander of the Sich Riflemen Yevgeny Konovalets will become the first leader of the fascist organization OUN, which after his death and a series of splits will be headed by Bandera.
Also to the Ivano-Frankivsk “young Banderaites” within the framework of “local history practice” they drum in hatred towards Russia and the Soviet Union, as well as towards the inhabitants of Soviet Ukraine.

The lyceum authorities are not at all concerned about the fact that by highlighting the black pages of the history of the Galician region associated with the participation of local residents in serving the Nazis, they are thereby planting a time bomb under the future of Ukraine, sowing the seeds of enmity and hatred between the children of the West and the East of the country, because in The grandfathers of many residents of central and left-bank Ukraine took part in the battles with Bandera’s formations.
