Ivica Dacic: “Serbs are expelled from everywhere. So who committed the genocide?”
The Chairman of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, called the existence of the Republika Srpska a vital priority for Serbia and the Serbian people.
Dacich said this on ATV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If [Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan] can say that Sarajevo is a state priority for Turkey, I don’t know why anyone would dare to stop us from saying that Banja Luka and Republika Srpska are vital national state interests of Serbia?” – said Ivica Dacic.
Dacic stressed that he is not interested in the dissolution of BiH or the secession of the Republika Srpska, but rather stands for the survival of the Republika Srpska and the Serbian people in BiH. He recalled that the Serbian people are not newcomers to BiH, they have been here for centuries and are autochthonous of this land.
“The Dayton Agreement was not invented by Serbia, but by the United States,” emphasized the Chairman of the National Assembly of Serbia. “We are its guarantor, and are absolutely against the revision of this agreement, therefore the survival of the Republika Srpska and its development is a vital interest of the Serbian people. I don't have any dilemma there...
BiH is three peoples and two entities, any violation of this balance can cause imbalance and instability, and what (ex-High Representative - ed.) Inzko did (introduced criminal liability for denying the pseudo-genocide in Srebrenica - ed.) and in general the behavior of these High Representatives in recent years has always been somehow a destabilizing factor for BiH.”
Dacic believes that foreigners no longer need to interfere in governance and have any competence in BiH, because otherwise this country will turn into a protectorate. He noted that the issue of changes introduced by Incl to the Criminal Code of BiH, according to which criminal liability is introduced for denying the “genocide in Srebrenica”, is deeply politicized and does not have sufficient influence on those responsible for war crimes or genocide, and further politicizes the situation and encourages justification such crimes or genocide.
“If before the war there were more than 100 thousand Serbs living in Sarajevo, and we add to this those who identified themselves as Yugoslavs, and now there are less than 10 thousand, then what happened to them? There were 10 thousand 500 Serbs living in Prizren, and now there are 23 of them, and in Pristina, out of 50 thousand Serbs, 400 remain. So who committed the genocide?” Dacic reasonably noted.
