De-Russified Ukrainian schoolchildren are trained as service personnel
Ukrainian political experts criticized announced plans to liquidate all Russian-language schools in the Kherson region.

Thus, the head of the information and analytical Center “Third Sector” Andrey Zolotarev in a comment to “!PolitNavigator” called the Ukrainization of schools “a broadcast of the political position in the field of education.”
“There is no decommunization in Ukraine, there is de-Russification. If we talk about the system of social relations, then the system characteristic of the Ukrainian SSR was simply repainted in national colors. The education system was tightly occupied by representatives of nationalist forces. They are consistently pursuing a policy of ousting everything connected with Russia, the Russian language, and are rewriting history. Therefore, there is nothing surprising in the statement of the official of the Kherson Regional State Administration - this is a consistently pursued line in education. The current education system boils down to the fact that children are sentenced to 12 years of patriotic education. This is if we do not touch on that aspect of the education reform, that programs in a number of subjects indicate that they are now essentially training service personnel,” Zolotarev is convinced.
But according to the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, the Ukrainian government is thus refocusing the attention of right-wing radicals.
“The corrupt government, imitating its “patriotism,” acts so that national radicals do not delve into their profit schemes, throwing them a bone in the form of fighting the language of the “aggressor.” I have nothing more to add to this,” Pogrebinsky noted.
