Ukrainian police detained the driver of a transport tug who was trying to illegally smuggle a military armored personnel carrier out of Donbass.
A 41-year-old resident of Donetsk region was detained by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He did not provide any documents authorizing such transportation. The driver said an unknown man called him and offered him money in exchange for transporting an armored car from the town of Shchastya in the Kiev-controlled part of the former Luhansk region to the city of Chernivtsi region, located in southwestern Ukraine, near the border with Hungary and Moldova.
At the moment, units of the Aidar battalion and the 92nd state brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are located in the city of Shchastya.
