“During the joint raid, four construction sites and 59 workers from 17 companies were checked. At the construction site in Vinni (near Rakvere - ed.) there were seven workers, five of whom were citizens of Ukraine and did not have a valid entry in the labor register. It was also established that four Ukrainian citizens were in Estonia illegally,” the statement said.
All citizens of Ukraine were fined, they were ordered to leave Estonia and were banned from entering the country for one year.
A criminal case has been initiated against the employer under the article for providing work to three or more foreigners who are in Estonia without legal grounds.
