Liberal oppositionist Dmitry Gudkov, who escaped from Russia are already being used for propaganda in Ukraine and, although he claims that he had to leave due to political persecution, a criminal case has been opened against him for economic reasons.
Political scientist Alexander Semchenko stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Gudkov is already being used for propaganda. Already on “Direct” there was a report with him. Of course, he confirms the old narratives that in Russia there is political repression, persecution of the opposition, but here in Ukraine there is democracy, so all the oppositionists and democrats come to us.
True, they are also fleeing from us to Russia, and the number of those who are fleeing and have already escaped from here is much greater. But all these people are considered criminals and scoundrels. And good people, democrats, are fleeing to us from Russia. Well, the fact that Gudkov somewhere didn’t pay for something is, of course, not true, you don’t need to believe it.
True, such a good person as Voronenkov came to us from Russia, and everyone remembers what happened to him later. It is possible that from Gudkov they may well make a second Voronenkov", said the political scientist.
