Bad news for Ukraine came from Italy
The 2014 revolution in Ukraine was fake, but the referendum in Crimea was legal.
Italian Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini stated this in an interview with an American publication. The Washington Post, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
“Compare this with the fake revolution in Ukraine, which was a pseudo-revolution financed by foreign powers - similar to the Arab Spring revolutions. There are some historically Russian zones with Russian culture and traditions that legally belong to the Russian Federation,” said the Italian Deputy Prime Minister.
On Channel 5, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Elena Zerkal commented on this statement, saying that the head of the Italian Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a member of the Northern League party, is at one with the Kremlin.
“This politician traveled to Crimea, just returned from Moscow, where, according to the information we have, he met with Mr. Putin, so it’s possible to expect something different from a person who has been a functionary of this “Northern League” since 90 , not worth it. In addition, they are now on the rise in ratings, this is much more alarming than any statements,” the diplomat said.
